UPPA

The « Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour » (UPPA) is a network of 4 campuses, which benefits from exceptional assets thanks to its geographical location near the Spanish border. UPPA is a medium sized university that provides a unique, personal and inclusive experience to students and staff. It places students in the heart of an environment which blends education, research, culture, sport, leisure and social life.

IUT de Bayonne et du Pays Basque

The « University Institute of Technology » (IUT de Bayonne et du Pays Basque), part of the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour, welcomes almost 1,000 students a year to its sites in Bayonne and Anglet.

A teaching and administrative team of around one hundred people (lecturers and researchers, engineers, secretaries, technicians), supplemented by a large number of temporary staff (outside professionals), support students in four subject areas : business, management, industrial engineering and IT.

General, technological and vocational teaching prepares students for technical and professional management positions in certain production, applied research and service sectors.

TC Bayonne

TC Bayonne offers a wide range of technology courses in sales, marketing and communication. It is one of the 4 departements within the IUT of Bayonne Pays basque, part of the UPPA. Thanks to diversified teaching methods and a team of committed teachers and professionals, the students become all-round, autonomous and highlty adaptable professionals.

Bayonne

Bayonne is a town in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It has a population of 52,000.

Bayonne is 10 minutes from the ocean and Biarritz, 30 minutes from Spain and 40 minutes from the foothills of the Pyrenees. It is close to the famous seaside resorts of the Basque Coast (Biarritz, Anglet, Saint Jean de Luz, Hendaye), picturesque inland Basque villages (Aïnhoa, Sare, Espelette, Saint-Jean-pied-de-Port, etc.) and close to the wild beaches of the Landes coast.

The Gothic cathedral - listed as a World Heritage Site in 1998 as part of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela - the conservation area, the ramparts, the cloister, the Basque Museum and the Château-Vieux make Bayonne a city with a unique historical and cultural heritage.

Bayonne is known the world over for its summer festivals, but the city is also alive with major cultural, traditional, sporting and gastronomic events throughout the year.

Bachelor of Technology in Business and Marketing (B.U.T. TC)

The Bachelor of Technology in Business and Marketing trains students to be future intermediate executives who can handle all stages of the marketing of a product or service : from market research to sales, including marketing strategy, commercial communication, negotiation and customers relations. Graduates are versatile, autonomous and adaptable. It covers business sectors related to sales, marketing and communication.

The course offers genuine assets for a swift integration into the workforce into the workforce. It also allows graduates the possibility to pursue their studies in order to obtain a Master’s degree.

International business : purchasing and sales study track

This track aims to train students in marketing and sales by developing strategic and operational skills in an international context.

International Business focuses on all aspects of managing a business.

The first bachelor year is the same for all specialisations, covering topics such as marketing, economics, communication, law, trade, accounting, sales, and foreign languages. In the first and second semesters, the Business Cases will give you a taste of the specialisation of your interest.

In the second and third bachelor year you then dive into the specialisation. Classes are taught in english in the third year.

Careers prospects : at the end of the course, graduates will be able to qualify for positions in international trade, regardless of the organisation they join.
